Upcoming season for Rye Film Club

Rye Film Club has much to offer with top entertainment in the coming months and at £2 per film this is a great way of catching up on movies.

The club comments: “You’ll always find that Rye Community Centre is warm, friendly and welcoming, offering high quality ‘Surround Sound’ and high definition projection facilities, with padded seats for your comfort.” With the delights of a licensed bar, Rye Community Centre also has disabled parking and wheelchair access, disabled loo facilities and a hearing loop for those with hearing difficulties.

Coming up next for Rye Film Club on Friday March 4 is French movie La Famille Belier, followed by Suffragette starring Carrey Mulligan on Friday April 1, and award-winning actress Kate Winslet in The Dressmaker on Friday May 6.

Bridge Of Spies follows on Friday June 3 starring Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance and set in the cold war, with Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl on Friday July 1, and the incomparable Dame Maggie Smith in The Lady In The Van written by Alan Bennett about his own driveway neighbour on Friday August 5. Films at 7pm, doors open 6.30pm.
