VIDEO UPDATE: A264 cleared after digger overturned
An overturned digger partially blocked the A264 between Horsham and Crawley at the Moorhead Roundabout earlier this afternoon (Monday April 29).
The incident happened at around 1.15pm at the junction with the B2195 Crawley Road.
Michelle Downey, from Sycamore Avenue, Horsham, said: “You can see people looking and seeing the horror on their faces, until they realise that nobody has been hurt and then they find it quite funny.”
She assumed that the digger had fallen off the back of a trailer at the roundabout, before falling on to its roof.
Several members of Sussex police were in attendance.
