Eastbourne branch of national fast food chain was ‘a long time in the making’

Dallas Chicken, which was meant to open in Langney Road on Thursday, February 9, will open on Wednesday, February 22.

A spokesperson from the restaurant said: “It's been a long time in the making and we couldn't imagine anywhere better to mark our first new store opening of 2023.”

The restaurant said Eastbourne was a ‘key coastal location’ for the chain.

The spokesperson added: “Already within the food retail business, we saw the franchisees as a good fit for Dallas and to bring the brand to the bustling town of Eastbourne.”

When asked why the opening date was pushed back the restaurant said it couldn't get the site finished in time.

The spokesperson explained: “The store interiors feature colourful neon and lots of other playful elements - so we'd rather make sure the in-store experience is the best it can be.”

Dallas Chicken will be selling its two-piece meal, hot wings meal and chicken burger meals at half-price to celebrate its opening.

The spokesperson added: “Dallas would love to be in Brighton, Crawley, Worthing and surrounding towns.”
