Salon superstars enjoy aglamorous awards event

Beauty Secrets, established by Beryl Martin, is a highly prestigious and multi-award winning salon, which has been at the heart of Horsham town centre for over 30 years.

Living by the mantra to offer ‘the best in beauty, holistic, medical and cosmetic innovations’ the heart of the business is based on exceptional customer service and care, which their eagerly anticipated ‘Oscars’ event duly celebrated.

The skirt-twirling ’fifties theme saw the girls pulling out all the stops with a glamorous array of 1950s fashion allowing the chance to showcase some of their carefully honed make-up skills with the classic Hollywood pin-up look of the era . ‘Victory Rolls’ and red lipstick were a popular choice, and the DJ did not disappoint with a montage of vintage and modern classics.

The salon has a reputation for loyal and dedicated staff and rewards their employees for outstanding achievements. Salon manager, Carla Panipucci, Vanessa Hayes and Louisa Harrington, senior therapists, all received recognition for more than eight years’ continuous service.

Carla additionally claimed the Decleor Manager Award plus the coveted overall ‘Manager of the Year’ prize, receiving a week’s accommodation in Budapest!

Congratulations went to Vanessa again, who won ‘Therapist of the Year’ for her exemplary customer service and faithful client base.

Sarah Edmonds took home the ‘Carita Manager’ award, alongside Samantha Hartill who scooped up both the Guinot and Elemis Managers titles.

Emily Loveday received both Decleor and Guinot Therapist of the Year accolades, followed by hardworking and loyal team member Emily Bacon winning the overall ‘Team Player of the Year’, voted for by her colleagues for her exceptional teamwork and professional attitude.

In keeping with the 1950s theme, the evening saw the gorgeous Louisa Harrington take home the ‘best dressed’ honours, and amongst the many individual awards, the evening celebrated the successes of the team as a whole and thanked all members of the Horsham Salon; Carla Panipucci, Sarah Edmonds, Samantha Hartill, Katie Weedon, Gemma Edwards, Louisa Harrington, Vanessa Hayes, Emily Loveday, Alisha Elliot, Emily Bacon, Jessica Moran, Stephanie Cottingham, Katharine Wicks, Marion Ambiguo-James, Jules Hadfield, Reshmi Burgess and Emma Thorn.
