Robertsbridge school confirms Covid-19 cases

A school has this week confirmed two cases of Covid-19.

Robertsbridge Community College wrote to parents yesterday (Monday, December 14) to notify them.

In the letter, seen by the Observer, it said: “We have been advised by Public Health England that there have been two confirmed cases of Covid-19 within the school.

“We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.

“The small number of children who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have received a letter informing them that their child must stay at home for 10 days.”

The school added that it will remain open.
