Ennis House care home staff, on Enys Road, have covered Guardian Angel to raise money for the air ambulance.

Sabah Kebdani, a member of staff, said, “The staff at Ennis House decided they would like to do something to bring some joy into the home after what had been a challenging few months for all. After conversations between staff the idea came about that it could be something to be used to benefit a charity.

“The manager of Ennis House, Michael Baldry, came up with the idea of making a video as he has previous experience in video making and music. The song Guardian Angel was suggested to be used which staff felt was very fitting with it being the run up to Christmas and the nature of the air ambulance’s work - in that moment they are like a Guardian Angel to someone.

“We chose the air ambulance because of the fantastic work they do and that they purely run off charitable donations.”

Sabah said all members of staff worked together to do their own part of the video.

She said, “It brought a lot of laughter and joy within the home with early cuts being used and shared around the home whilst it was going on. Residents loved seeing it evolve and so did the staff.”

Anyone wanting to support the song can stream it on any service and watch it on Youtube.
