IT'S Ninfield school in March 1923 - and the girls wait patiently for their photograph to be taken.

The one right in the middle of the front row wearing a white dress is Greta Holland, who went on to become Greta Barker.

Her daughter, Ann Clark, of London Road, brought in the photograph to ask if anyone knows other girls in the picture.

She said: “I don’t know anyone else, that’s why I was interested to see if any of them were still alive. “I know my mum would now be 92 if she was still alive, so I think it is such a shame I don’t know anyone else in it.

“There are a lot of Ninfield people still out there that have never moved so I am sure it is going to jog a lot of memories - that’s what I’m hoping.”
