A NIGHT OF FANCY DRESS AND FIRE

MORE than 400 bonfire enthusiasts from 12 bonfire societies marched through Fletching on Saturday to celebrate the downfall of Guy Fawkes.

Five thousand torches were provided.

Music was provided by the Newhaven Youth Marching Band, Barcombe Scout Band and Uckfield Scout Band.

Large crowds lined the streets and more than 2,000 spectators assembled at Atherall's Farm for the fire and firework display.
