SKILLED needlework was enjoyed by hundreds of visitors to the latest exhibition by Aldwick Quilters.

One of those taking part was Nancy Baldry, with three superb quilts and two pieces of embroidery.

The Aldwick Quilter for about 13 years said: “Needlework takes you away from other things.

“You can forget about any worries and concentrate on the sewing.”

The exhibition took place in Pagham United Reformed Church.

It was the first for four years by the Quilters’ 40 members.

Profits were being raised for the Self Unlimited charity at Walberton.
