Airmen honoured
THE lives of Royal Air Force stalwarts, the late Ken Igglesden and Bill Low, will be celebrated at a social evening being held by Bexhill Aircrew Association on Friday, September 30.
It will take place at the Royal British Legion Club in Meads Avenue, off Cooden Sea Road, Little Common, 7pm for 7.30pm until 11.45pm and feature live music, a carvery supper, a raffle and licensed bar.
Guests of honour will be Elsie Igglesden and Chloe Low, wives of the late airmen.
Tickets cost £20 each and are available from the Royal Air Forces Association’s Albatross Club in Marina Arcade, Bexhill.
