Amber alert issued for West Sussex with heavy winds on the way
Heavy winds are expected to batter West Sussex this afternoon (Wednesday February 12) according to the Met Office.
Southerly gales of between 60 and 70 mph have been predicted for this afternoon with the weather agency issuing an amber alert.
The Met Office’s website is warning the public to be prepared for disruption to transport and power supplies.
