Children will get the chance to show off their creative skills in the Easter bonnet competition at 10.30am and be rewarded a prize for their efforts.

Some entertainment will be provided at 11am by the Senlac High Steppers and everyone will be poised ready for the traditional marbles scramble at 11.30am, when 1,000 brand new, shiny marbles are rolled out.

And visitors to Battle will get the chance to check out the delights of two of the town's top tourist attractions, Battle Abbey and Yesterday's World, which have both recently undergone multi-million pound make-overs.

Last year a total of 95 in 19 teams battled it out at the marbles matches in the hope of walking away as the overall champions.
