Bexhill High reunion 1990

Out of this connection came the idea of a 20 year reunion during summer 2010.

That idea has now become a reality and the event will take place on Saturday July 10 at The Manor Barn in Old Town.

Information about the reunion has primarily been passed on by way of Facebook, but organisers Helen Thorndyke, ne Spice, and Matthew Gurney (of school forms X and N respectively) are keen to spread the word to those former pupils from their year who do not use the website to communicate.

Helen commented: "It is sure to be a great night during which distant memories and old laughs will be brought back to life. Indeed, it could be of particular poignancy as it is during 2010 when the Down Road site is finally to be demolished. There will be a DJ promising some of the classics from the 80's to remind you of the old days, and buffet-style food to keep you going for the evening."

Volunteers to bring food are still required, so if you learnt anything in home economics and fancy helping out, please contact Helen on the details below.

The party will start at 7.00pm and finish at midnight. There is a modest entry fee of 5.00 to cover the cost of the event, which Helen and Matthew request be paid in advance. Details of payment options are:
