Bognor youths offered vital skills boost

The chance to develop skills has been offered to unemployed young people in Bognor Regis.

The Prince’s Trust is offering 16 to 25-year-olds the opportunity to join their 12 week personal development and training ‘Team’ programme.

Delivered by City College Brighton and Hove, the programme seeks to improve employability through undertaking voluntary projects.

“It helps you to learn new skills that prove useful in all facets of life, or discover skills you had but didn’t know it,” said Alan Wills, 20, who has recently completed the programme. If you’re looking for direction in life or to reinforce your skills and qualities, it could be perfect for you,” added Alan.

Recently, a group from Bognor experienced an exciting range of activities including a community project involving gardening and creating art work at the Phoenix Centre.
