Bonfire night funat Burgess Hill
The best guys will end up on the bonfire as Burgess Hill stages its annual parade, fire, and fireworks show on Saturday.
The first torchlit parade of Bonfire Societies from across Sussex starts at 7.30pm from the Cyprus Road car park and winds its way through the town. But a few hours before the parade sets off, the best-made guys in a competition will be judged at Benson’s fairground at Fairfield Road, Burgess Hill.
The best will top the bonfire and the runners-up will decorate the bottom. A street collection will benefit several local charities.
