Butlin's new hotel in Bognor Regis opens its doors.

A celebrity mother was among the first to check into a new Bognor Regis hotel.

Television actress Angela Griffin gave Butlin’s new £25m Wave hotel the celebrity seal of approval today (July 2) when she arrived with her two daughters for a sneak peak.

“Butlin’s and Wave are what holiday memories are made of - there are surprises around every corner. We’re a busy family, so it’s great to come to a place that gives us the chance to have fun and spend quality time together.

“And it is not just the girls who love all the gadgets at Wave - I’ve definitely given them a run for their money in the Games Port,” Angela said.

Dubbed the ‘Tween Hotel’ the new state-of-the-art accommodation will be officially launched to the public tomorrow.

Filled with technology including iPod docking stations, a Kindle library and games consoles the hotel has already received pre-booking sales worth more than £2m.
