By-election date set

A BY-ELECTION for two Uckfield ward seats is to be held on Thursday, November 29, following the resignation of Councillors Mike and Gill Skinner from the district council.

The formal notice of election will be published on October 25. Nominations can be received by the returning officer only between October 25 and November 2.

If any electors would like to organise postal or proxy votes, they have until 5pm on November 21 to do so. The deadline for alterations to existing absence voting is November 14. For more information contact Heather Blanshard on 01892 602416.
