Residents at Mais House, the Royal British Legion run care home in Bexhill, will be able to enjoy a live concert next week, thanks to the Music in Hospitals charity.
The concert will take place at Mais House on Tuesday June 21, which is World Music Day.
Music in Hospitals provides live music for those isolated by illness, disability and loss of independence throughout the UK. The concerts have run across the Legion’s six care homes in England with 66 live music concerts over the course of the year.
Daniel Elser, Head of Grants & Social Policy for The Royal British Legion, said: “We are proud to fund concerts for our care home residents up and down the country. Music reaches out to everyone and evokes memories personal to the individual and the concerts have proved to be very popular so far.”
