Members of Chichester Lions Club responded to a request by the Caring Kits for Kids Charity, to assemble kits for babies and older children for use in an emergency.

Twelve kits containing items potentially needed following an emergency admission, were received at St Richard’s Hospital by Shelly Hill, Play Specialist for the hospital and Paul Peacock, Youth Liaison Worker for Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Six were being kept at St Richard’s Hospital and six were being taken to Worthing Hospital.

The charity and staff expressed their gratitude to the club for their help in assembling the kits.
