Charity plans for this year’s Miss Sussex

THIS year’s Miss Sussex is pledging to do the county proud with her charity work in her year with the title.

Lucy Kent, who will be entering the Miss England final on Friday, August 14, is looking forward to supporting her local community.

She said: “I’m hoping to support local projects and charities in Sussex and to continue to make Sussex proud throughout my year. I will be supporting Action Medical Research Charity, which has a base in Sussex, and any other projects I can get involved in.”
