County Missing Out on £85 m from government

West Sussex is the third worst funded county of the 34 counties in England. Latest figures have shown that residents are missing out on £85m benefits each year because of government policies.

The figure follows publication of an annual league table of grants for services run by West Sussex County Council and how they compare nationallky. The table shows West Sussex receives only 694 per head of the population.
