Armed police were seen outside a property in Valley Road, Newhaven at around 4pm on Sunday, October 22.
Sussex Police were called to Valley Road in Newhaven on Sunday, October 22, to reports of a person being threatened.
According to the Police, a local man was arrested and remains in custody at this time.
