West Sussex collision: Driver named and charged after car ended up in ditch

A driver has been arrested after a collision in West Sussex.

Sussex Police said officers responded to a ‘report of a car in a ditch’ in Ford Road, Arundel, around 7.40pm on Thursday (June 29).

“No injuries were reported,” a police spokesperson said, on Friday morning.

"The driver, Basil Saju, 28, of Downview Way, Yapton, was arrested and charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

“He has been released on bail to appear before Worthing Magistrates’ Court on August 15.”
