Early hours arson attack damages van in Rustington

AN ARSON attack damaged a van in Rustington in the early hours of Sunday (March 14) morning.

The contents of a skip, in Henry Avenue, were set alight at about 1am, and the heat radiating from the blaze damaged the vehicle which was parked next to it.

Two engines from Littlehampton fire station were needed to put out the fire, and a spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it had been started deliberately.
