Easter donkey
A donkey led members of the choir and congregation of St Nicholas Church, in Middleton, as they proceeded along Elmer Road towards the church at the start of their Palm Sunday service.
It is on that day, Christians remember the triumphant entry by Jesus into Jerusalem a number of days before he was crucified.
This is commemorated on Good Friday, and his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
