A fire has broken out on a farm in Cuckfield, West Sussex.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service reported on Twitter, just after 7.30pm, that crews are ‘currently tackling’ a barn fire on a farm in Cherry Lane.

A spokesperson added: “We were called at 6.32am and sent four fire engines from Haywards Heath, Crawley and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

"Please avoid the area if you can.”
