'Friendly' council given business award
Lewes District Council has been presented with a Small Business Friendly Procurement Award from the Federation of Small Businesses (South East Policy Unit).
This award, in the form of a Certificate of Excellence has been given in recognition of the Council's successful implementation of small businesses friendly procurement practices and processes.
The Council finished joint 8th out of 52 local authorities in the South East who took part in a survey carried out by the South East Policy Unit.
