Frink sculptures must stay in town, say supporters

Four bronze busts, known as the Frink heads, sited on the western facade of Montague Centre in Worthing are at the centre of a big row over their future.

Claims that the four heads, produced by renowned British sculptress, the late Dame Elisabeth Frink, were given to Worthing ' in perpetuity' have been denied by developer Humphrey Avon.

Mr Avon, of the Avon Group which owns the town centre, said "They belong to me."
