Goodwood marks dates for Festival of Speed and Revival

The 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed will provisionally take place over July 3, 4 and 5 while the Revival will take place on September 18, 19 and 20. The dates are expected to be confirmed imminently.

"Both 2009 Goodwood motor sport events promise a spectacular array of cars and motorcycles, plus fabulous star drivers and riders to thrill the crowds," Goodwood spokesman Janet Bradley said.

"As enthusiasts have come to expect from Goodwood, a series of further enhancements will be made for 2009, including a more flexible approach to grandstand seating with more roaming viewing available, plus improvements to the on-site camping facilities.

"As in previous years, admission to both Goodwood motor sport events will be strictly by advance ticket only, with 2009 ticket sales commencing from November 1, 2008."
