CHILDREN’S ART COMPETITION: The Very Hungry Caterpillar is the theme for this Easter’s art competition for children ages 2 to 7 years and 8 to 12 years. Colour in or draw a picture of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and you could win one of two bug-inspired prizes. Please as in the Lime Cross Nursery shop for full details. Closing date for entries is tomorrow, Saturday. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Easter Egg Hunt runs throughout the Easter holidays.

GRANT SUCCESS: Herstmonceux Village Hall were pleased to hear from Wealden District Council’s Community Grants that they had been award £4,011 for the window replacements and floor refurbishment of the hall. This will ensure that this valuable village facility is sustainable and fit for purpose for future years.
