High School students' treat for care home

BEXHILL High School's director of community arts, Adam Hepkin, and 18 students from Bexhill High School visited the Bupa Care Home, Grosvenor Park, in Brookfield Road, Bexhill on Tuesday to entertain residents with a mixture of musical theatre, festive songs and dance.

Jo Sullivan, the home’s activities co-ordinator, said: “The residents thoroughly enjoyed watching the pupils and joined in with the singing. There was much applause and the residents asked for an encore, with which the students happily obliged.

Jo added: “It was a wonderful opportunity for the school community and residents of Bupa Care Home, Grosvenor Park to come together this Christmas time.

Afternoon tea was served and the pupils were each presented with a box of chocolates as a thank you from Shelley Rabbitt, home manager, for their efforts. She hoped they would return soon.
