Horsham-Dorking rail line to remain closed until next month

The Horsham to Dorking railway line is set to remain closed until early February following the recent landslip.

Around 40 metres of embankment collapsed in Ockley after heavy rain at the end of last month.

Repairs are requiring an access road to be built to allow machinery in to carry out pile driving to underpin the embankment.

Buses are replacing trains between Horsham and Dorking daily from Monday to Saturday until the line re-opens.
