It's showtime as troupe go global on the internet

Dancers from Bognor Regis highkicking their way through their senior years are set to show the world their popular routines.

The Antiques Broadshow troupe is being placed on the YouTube and Veoh websites to increase its profile.

Cameraman and director Stuart McKears has filmed a three-minute profile of the group of eight women.

He shows them performing a tap routine as well as putting on a performance at an elderly persons' housing scheme in Bognor.

The eight members have also been captured rehearsing for their big show next year at the Windmill Theatre in Littlehampton.

Their ages range between 60 and 75 years. Dancer Ann Bobby (71), a member for about seven of the troupe's ten years, said: 'We want to tell the outside world that it's not the end of everything when you reach your 60s.

'We want people to see what we are doing and how much we are enjoying ourselves.

'We have a whole lot of fun. It's all about dressing up and doing something we would not normally do.

'If you had asked me 20 years ago what I would be doing now, I would never had said dancing on a stage.

'It takes you completely out of your normal character. There's a real adrenaline rush just before you go on.'
