Jordan 'Lookalike' Filmed in Bexhill

CLIENTS at Quakersmill health, hair and beauty salon in Bexhill's Old Town, did a double take last Thursday when glamour model Jordan 'lookalike' Gabriele Randone arrived with a film crew in tow.

Gabriele 22, who was at the salon to have her hair dyed to the new darker colour that Katie Price aka Jordan now sports, was being filmed for a German television documentary.

Claudine de Montul, the chief UK producer of German television channel Pro7, explained their interest in filming Gabriele.

She said : "We are doing a documentary on Gabriele, who is one of the new Jordan lookalikes. Katie Price obviously has quite a few lookalikes but Gabriele seems to be, as far as we are concerned, one of the most exciting new young stars on that horizon.

"Our focus today is for one of our programmes called Taff, which is a daily features magazine type programme. What's interesting about our story is that Gabriele obviously has to keep outlaying a lot of money and changing herself because Katie Price regularly changes her image. The ins and outs of what this involves is what we are focusing on in our report; the life of a Jordan lookalike and what they have to do to stay on top of their market."

The programme, which will only be shown on German TV, is due to be aired the week after next.

Gabriele lives in Eastbourne with her partner and their 11 month old Son, but regularly travels to Bexhill as she likes the way the friendly staff at Quakersmill do her hair she said: "They are really good."

She began her career as a Jordan lookalike last August and was quickly snapped up by an agent.

She was offered the chance to go on Jordan's TV show last year but as she was recovering from a second breast enlargement operation, which she'd hoped would make her look even more like Jordan, she was unable to go.

Constantly changing her image to keep up with Jordan keeps Gabriele on her toes and can be a costly business as, even though she admits she would spend a lot of money on makeup anyway, if she gets offered a job buying a new outfit sets her back around 50 or 60, and having two breast enlargements has been a big outlay.

Jordan recently changed her hair from blonde to brunette and Gabriele said: "I was in 'Closer' magazine last month and in that story my hair was blonde then just afterwards Jordan went dark and so I had to go dark! I prefer my hair blonde but I know I look more like her with dark hair. Now she's changed her hair again and gone even darker so that's why I'm here at Quakersmill today to get my hair change to the new colour."

The two breast enhancement operations have cost Gabriele a whopping 8,000 but ironically Jordan has recently had her breasts reduced so would Gabriele now do the same?

She said: "Well the first operation was for myself because that was what I'd wanted since I was about thirteen as I was always flat chested. But the second one was for my career because I wanted to push it forward. Jordan now says she's had hers reduced but I don't see much reduction there. They said she was a 32G and I'm a 32F so I'm hoping that we'll be about the same size now, but if it comes to it I'll have to get mine reduced because I only did the extra size to get the work. But that's OK and I'm happy at the moment."

Gabriele is hoping to make the lookalike business her full-time career though admits to having been very nervous about appearing in front of the camera for German TV but said : "It's been really exciting and they're lovely people."
