Oliver Helmsley, seven, has been supported by Demelza’s community team for much of his life, and he will be tackling the Bubble Rush course with his family again this year.

Mum Verity said: “Oli absolutely loved Bubble Rush last year! My husband Scott pushed him round the course in his wheelchair, whilst me, my daughter and my three other sons ran alongside. It was a brilliant day that we could all enjoy together.

"There really aren’t many days out like that for us. And not only did we have a fantastic day as a family, we got to raise money for Demelza.

“Demelza is our lifeline, they have given every single member of our family so much support – caring for Oli, siblings groups from my children and support for Scott and I. They give us so much and this our chance to give something back by raising money whilst having fun altogether.”
