Film Show: “Sully” starring Tom Hanks on Thursday 23rd February at 7.45pm in the King Edward Hall. Doors open 7.30pm.This is a true story. On January 15 2009 Captain “Sully” Sullenberger tries to make an emergency landing on New York’s Hudson River after US Airways Flight 1549 strikes a flock of geese and both engines fail. Miraculously all of the 155 passengers and crew survive the ordeal and Sullenberger becomes a national hero. Directed by Clint Eastwood. Tickets at £6 on sale at Tufnells.
