The Neighbourhood Policing Listening Lunch scheme is proving successful with schools in Bexhill and this latest visit was the second listening lunch at Sidley.

The pupils tried on police uniform and even spent time in the police carrier van.

PC Croft said: "The playground emptied - I never knew how many school kids you could get in the police van.

"We would like to thank the staff at the school for their support. It's great to interact with the pupils in their own environment and teach them more about what police officers do and their role in the community."
