Littlehampton Remembrance Day services 2011
On Friday (November 11) Armistice Day service will see maroons fired from the beach at Littlehampton to mark the beginning and end of the two minute silence, at 11am.
The district will also be hosting a number of parades and services, as part of Remembrance Sunday.

Hide AdArundel: Arundel war memorial, in Town Square, at 10.40am, then a service at Ford Memorial Garden at 12.30pm.
Angmering: Service at St Margaret’s Church, in Arundel Road, from 10.50am. Wreath laying will take place later, at the Angmering war memorial, in The Square, at 12.15pm.
East Preston: The parade will assemble at the East Preston and Kingston Royal British Legion Club, in The Street, at 10.15am. It will then march to St Mary’s Church, in Vicarage Lane, for the Remembrance Service.
At the end of the service the parade will march to the East Preston war memorial, in Sea Lane, for a short service and the laying of wreaths. There will also be a short service and laying of wreaths at the Kingston war memorial, in Kingston Lane, at 12.30pm

Hide AdFerring: Remembrance Sunday service will take place at St Andrew’s Church, in Grange Park, at 9.30am. Wreath laying will take place at the Ferring war memorial, in Rife Way, from 11am.
Ford: A service will be held at 12.30pm at the Memorial Garden, in Yapton Road.
Littlehampton: The parade will form at the clock tower, in High Street, at 10.30am before moving off through the town, toward the Beach Road war memorial, at 10.45am.
Wreath laying will begin at 11am, with Arun District Council’s chairman, Dennis Wilde and chief executive, Nigel Lynn, attending. There will also be a service at St Mary’s Church, in Church Street, at 10am.

Hide AdRustington: The village’s parade will launch from Churchill Parade, at 9.45am. It will then head down The Street, to St Peter and St Paul’s Church for the Sunday service. The parade should reach the war memorial, at Lych Gate, in The Street, at 11am.
