Man arrested on suspicion of affray in Littlehampton

A large police presence was seen in the town centre as emergency services responded to a report of concern for a man’s welfare in Terminus Road earlier today (Wednesday, October 25).

Police confirmed that specialist officers were deployed to negotiate with the man in a property, and that there was no wider risk to the public.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “The ongoing incident in Terminus Road, Littlehampton has now concluded, and a man has been arrested on suspicion of affray.”
