Man let off with caution after assaulting elderly woman in Worthing
A MAN who assaulted an elderly woman in Worthing town centre yesterday morning has escaped with a caution.
An 80-year-old woman from Eastbourne was punched by a man as she walking near Edinburgh Woolen Mill at around 10.20am. She was taken to Worthing Hospital to be checked over but received no significant injuries.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of ABH and given a caution.
