Marathon runners

MORE THAN a dozen members of Hastings Runners are taking part in the New York Marathon on November 5 and will be raising money for St Michael's Hospice.

One of the team, Brenda Boyle has beaten breast cancer and with her colleagues is running in memory of well-loved club member Keith Chandler who spent his last few days in the care of the hospice.

The New York Marathon is one of the world's great road races, crossing five bridges and five boroughs.
