More heavy snow chaos across Rye and Battle
MORE heavy snow fell overnight yesterday (Wednesday) causing widespread travel chaos for Rye and Battle commuters.
People woke up to find the main roads completely covered in snow and trains between Battle and London Charing Cross have been cancelled until further notice.
Schools across the area also faced a second day of closure leaving scores of youngsters an extra day off.
The Arctic weather is expected to last for the rest of the week.
