Netherfield

Netherfield Church: Services for October are as follows: This Sunday, October 12 is Holy Communion at Brightling; October 19 is Holy Communion at Mountfield and October 26 will be Holy Communion at Netherfield. As you can see we are back to the normal pattern with all services at 10 am. In addition, Mountfield have their Harvest Praise at 3 pm. on October 12 followed by a Harvest Tea and Brightling have Harvest Songs of Praise at 6 pm. on October 19.

The Netherfield Autumn Fair: is coming next week. I did give advanced warning of this previously and optimistically asked for any new stalls or suggestions for anything new, just to freshen things up a bit. So far no suggestions have been made, so I expect it will follow the usual format of stalls – produce, books, bric-a-brac, as new, paintings, jewellery and the PTA, supported by tombola, a raffle and the much needed tea and coffee plus a cake or two. It will start at 10 am and finish at 12 on Saturday October 18. This is always a good social event but it also is a fund raiser and as we are running at a considerable loss this year, we do need a boost to our funds so please come along and support us. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.

Hatha Yoga Classes: at Netherfield Village Hall, starting Monday October 13, 6pm – 7.15pm for Intermediate and 7.30pm – 8.45pm for Beginners, £5 per class. Please bring a cushion and blanket, spaces are limited so please contact Carleen to reserve your place 07592 081432 or [email protected]
