North Bersted man offering people chance to win one-of-a-kind Mercedes

Gavin Cramp is raffling a one-off Mercedes C300 this weekend.

The G-reg vehicle boasts paintwork created by two well-known graffiti artists from Bristol.

Another eye-catching feature is its wheels, worth 2,500-plus, by the American company, Daterns.

Inside, the ride is dreamlike thanks to a 4,000 hydraulic suspension system.

Gavin said: "It is absolutely beautiful to drive. You can have the hydraulics up really high so you feel like you are in a Bentley and don't feel a single bump.

"Or you can have them low for the street-cruising look and feel every single little bump in the road."

He came across the Mercedes on a motoring website and acquired it from its previous owner in Blackpool in exchange for another car.

Gavin, 29, the director of Bersted Autos on Chichester Road, is putting the Mercedes up for grabs at the Modified Madness roadshow on

Thorney Island on Saturday and Sunday.

He is selling the 5 tickets for Help for Heroes and the Mind charity.

A minimum of 1,500 tickets need to be sold for the car to be claimed.

Otherwise, the holder of the winning ticket will receive a 500 cash prize.

"I wanted to help good causes which have helped a lot of people," said Gavin, of Chichester Road.

"Raffling this Mercedes seemed a good way of doing that.

"I've had a good reaction to it so far. People have been buying tickets and taking flyers about the raffle."

The Mercedes has a full service history, cruise control, automatic braking system, automatic gearbox and a three-litre engine.
