Oarsome attempt to break world record

Ten rowers from the Bexhill College squad will be attempting to break a world record in Devonshire Square on Friday.

This is a joint effort with Row4Charity and they will be rowing flat out to beat the 100,000 metres world record on a rowing machine - the target is to complete the challenge within five hours and 30 minutes.

The attempt will start at 10am and will have four girls and six lads pulling their best for 15 strokes and then swapping, and rotating around.
