But this is not going to be your regular kind of exhibition. You can expect something more exciting and it will cost nothing to exhibit! The Fair will take place on 29 April at the De La Warr Pavilion. It will combine talent from their design team with that of the Creative Café organisation – who specialise in producing creating and engaging formats.

The Fair is being presented collectively by local organisations and being championed by local MP Huw Merriman. It is aimed at 16-24 year olds who are planning their careers for the future or looking for opportunities and advice now. This initiative comes from a desire to help develop skills in the region and aid youth and talent retention.

Over 80 attendees from local businesses listened to Huw Merriman and Stewart Drew, Director and CEO at the De La Warr Pavilion detail this not-for-profit event. The key message was that any business in the local area can take part if they have opportunities to offer on the day. This includes:

Full or Part-Time Jobs

Apprenticeships

Work Experience and Volunteering Opportunities

Workshops, Training or Career Advice

With the link road, a business park and plans for high speed trains to London, Bexhill is at the centre of many exciting growth plans and we need talented recruits. There are many diverse and successful regional and international businesses in our area that many of us (students and parents alike) do not realise are here! This event gives local businesses a great platform to showcase opportunities within their organisation and ensure that attendees discover these viable career options.

Remember, you can take part even if you only have a work experience placement at this point. There will be no fee for exhibiting or attending.

We are looking for sponsors to help cover costs in return for a package of marketing benefits. One of our media partners is the Platinum Business Magazine.
