TECHNOLOGY: Fast tracking your charge
Luckily there are a few things you can do to make that last minute charge go a bit further and ensure you’re not left out of touch when out and about.
Firstly, always use the official branded charger. Cheaper models may be appealing price wise, but they are often not thoroughly tested for safety and can run the risk of overheating, damaging your phone or even catching fire.

Another way to ensure your mobile is getting the maximum power surge is by using a power outlet as opposed to a USB port.
Charging your phone through your computer might be convenient but it is not efficient.
It also makes sense for your phone to be expending minimum energy when carrying out an emergency charge. If you can, turn your mobile off.
