Acceptable face of Hallowe'en

I WOULD like to say thank you to the charming young ladies, from the Littlehampton Baptist Church, all dressed up in costumes, who called at my door on Hallowe'en.

They were polite and friendly, and offered me a gift of home-made cookies instead of asking for trick or treats.

What a lovely gesture in this day and age.

Well done, ladies, the cookies were delicious.
