Another beach eyesore

PICKING up my Gazette this week, I could not believe what I was reading, that we are to get the seafront bench.

Another eyesore on the beach. The caf was bad enough. Even if it's making money, it's still an eyesore, and now the bench.

And to the person who rang me at my home the last time about the bench, don't tell me it's not our money that is paying for it. "Grant" means our money.

A tribute to Anita would be great, as Lynn Martin said, but this thing will not be good for Littlehampton.

If they do go ahead with this, please put a sign on it saying "Don't forget to visit our town centre", which is now called a ghost town, not Littlehampton town, because there are no more pubs, shops or anything else there.

Everything new is on the beach.

M. Moss,

Belloc Road,

Wick
