Charity organise ‘Rock & Roll Bingo’ evening

Local charity Home-Start CHAMS are inviting people to come along to an exciting ‘music quiz with a difference’, being held at Horsham Rugby Club on Friday 27th February from 7 pm.

It’s called ‘Rock & Roll Bingo’ - a music quiz that’s a twist on bingo, where 15 seconds of popular music replace the caller, and the names of artists and songs are on the bingo cards, instead of numbers.

Home-Start CHAMS are organising the evening to raise much needed funds for their work supporting vulnerable local families with young children throughout Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex. The charity trains volunteers who visit families facing issues such as isolation, financial hardship, or disability, in order to prevent family crisis or breakdown, so that the children won’t suffer.

As more local families are struggling to cope, demand for the charity’s help is increasing and so Home-Start CHAMS are appealing to the local community to come along and support their work.

“This will be a great evening to get together with friends and family and enjoy a fun night out. Tickets are only £10, including supper and 4 games – that’s a real bargain! We’re looking forward to meeting lots of new people from the local area”, said Aneliese Whittaker, Events & Community Fundraiser at Home-Start CHAMS.

Tickets are on sale now. If you would like to join in the ‘Rock & Roll Bingo’ craze, while supporting a great local charity, phone Aneliese on 01293 416327, or e-mail [email protected] . To find out more about the evening, just go to www.homestartchams.org.uk/2015/rock-roll-bingo/
